Collaborative Electronic Records Project

In 2005, the Rockefeller Archive Center and the Smithsonian Institution Archives embarked on a three-year Collaborative Electronic Records Project with the goal of developing a strategy and the means to preserve historically important information created in electronic formats by depositors to the two institutions. A parallel goal is to communicate the project’s results to other archivists.
